Mustafa Önder was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He has served as a photo editor and freelance photographer for numerous international publications including Aktuel, Vogue Turkey, Food and Travel, Cosmopolitan Turkey, Trendsetter, Forbes Turkey, The L Magazine New York and The Indypendent. Mustafa’s fine art photography has been exhibited in solo and group shows, as well as auctions in New York, Istanbul, San Francisco, London, Beijing, Geneva and other cities. His work has received many awards in such international photo competitions as IPA (International Photography Awards), Renaissance Photography Prize and Px3 (Prix De La Photographie Paris). Mustafa currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Stephen Mahan is a photographer, videographer and educator with degrees in literature and photography. He has taught at numerous universities and is currently working with students in a Literacy Through Photography program in the Syracuse city school district. He has exhibited widely and photographed for numerous magazines both in the US and Europe. For the past seven years he has been working on a long-term project documenting the profound changes occurring in villages and monasteries in the remote regions of eastern Tibet. Stephen lives in Syracuse, New York with his wife Mary Lynn, two wonderful daughters, and their dog Alice.
Kat Vellos is a lot of things: multimedia experimentalist, teaching artist, photographer, graphic designer, master gardener, painter, lyricist, writer, poet, MacGyver of DIY craftivism, and creative innovator. She is originally from Belize and though she misses tropical weather, she is very happy to call the Pacific Northwest her new home. Kat’s been shutterbuggin’ since she was 15 and has a rich background in design, community-building, program implementation/management and youthwork. She is the Program Director at Youth In Focus in Seattle, WA.
